The Architecture of Gladys Abarca

The Chacra Y Mar community, The Trulys of Chancay, offers a unique experience of spiritual life in an impressive and natural ecological setting. Located on the Pacific coast one hour north of Lima, Peru, it features Chipaya-style domes made from indigenous materials surrounded by lush, tropical organic gardens. Alternative energy projects include wind and solar power using technology appropriate to the remote site, surrounded by volcanic cliffs and huge sand dunes.
