Srinjay Chakravarti is a 32-year-old journalist, economist and poet based in Salt Lake City, Calcutta, India. His poetry and prose have appeared in various publications all over the world. His first book of poems, Occam's Razor, has received an award from John Kinsella
and an Australian literary trust in 1995.
Chakravarti has also translated poetry from Bengali and Urdu, and his own poems have been translated to languages like Arabic and Romanian.
His journalistic columns include essays and articles on literature (including literary
criticism), economics, politics and physics.
